In 2000, as the new millennium unfolded, Eureka Forbes Limited formed a public charitable organisation called Eureka Forbes Institute of Environment (EFIE). The company assured complete funding of all its programmes for the initial years and made available its full portfolio of expertise, knowledge base and facilities for the purpose of environment education.
We believe that our countrymen and future generation has a right to unpolluted water and clean and pure air to breathe. We believe we have not inherited our earth from our ancestors but we have it on loan from our children and we must provide them a better world with clean air and water.
We aim to achieve our goal by identifying sections of society using the ICE formula (Information, Communication and Education) so as to seek mass participation to raise funds required for implementation and further seek association of other like-minded organisations in providing health and hygiene solutions like safe drinking Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH).
